These two organizations were founded by the same project lead as the club. They are not external partners: one is the civic NGO, the other is the commercial firm that delivers paid coaching.

DJIGUI-BA-MALI is the founding non-profit association from which Big-Hope-Mali English Club was born — not an external partner. The name means "Big Hope" in Bambara (our language, our roots). It is a registered association in Bamako dedicated to education, English learning, and community development, and it remains the civic backbone of the club.

Corporate backingCommercial Sister Brand — English & Leadership
bekaSOBA is our commercial sister brand. Its English & Leadership pole delivers the club's premium private coaching — immersive, conversational English taught the way it is really spoken. bekaSOBA currently operates through Denmisew ka Gneta, the legal educational company behind this paid pathway. Saturday community sessions remain free; this commercial line is distinct from the club's non-profit mission.

MECC (Malian English Clubs Council) is our #1 official and founding partner. They formalized the creation of Big-Hope-Mali, coordinate all English clubs across Mali, and serve as the national authority for English club activities. Big-Hope-Mali is proudly one of the top clubs in the MECC network — after participating in the MECC 2nd Club Debate, our club was among the winning teams. MECC and Big-Hope-Mali collaborate on everything, and this partnership is the cornerstone of our club's legitimacy and growth.

OfficialHost Institution
Our official host school in ACI 2000 / Hamdallaye, Bamako. This renowned bilingual private school (elementary through high school) has welcomed Big-Hope-Mali since June 2024, providing a professional learning environment for our Saturday sessions. The staff and administration have been genuinely supportive and welcoming — the director himself speaks English with us and regularly encourages our members, making this partnership feel like a shared commitment to education.

University of Florida — English Language Institute (ELI)
Academic Partnership — In Development
The University of Florida's English Language Institute (ELI) is a world-class English language program. Our founder, Mahamadou Kane, is a UF Fulbright Scholar and ELI alumnus who completed the highest level of the ELI program. He holds certificates from UF ELI and has an established relationship and network with the institute — including participation in outdoor activities, weekend events, and language assistant roles alongside the formal curriculum. A formal partnership with UF ELI is actively in development and will open doors to academic resources, curriculum collaboration, and international exchange opportunities for Big-Hope-Mali members.
Orange Digital Center Mali
Technology & Training Partner — In Development
A leading digital training center in Mali. Our VP Mamadou FADIGA is an Orange Digital Center certified developer. A formal partnership would enable digital skills workshops alongside English learning.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation — Mali
Government & Diplomatic Partner — In Development
Our President Setigui Famakan DEMBELE serves as a Foreign Affairs Counsellor at this ministry. A formal partnership would open doors to diplomatic English training and international exchange programs.
