The advantages of joining the club
Real speaking practice
The fastest way to gain fluency is to speak. Our Saturday sessions are built around conversation: Hot Seat, interpretation, debate, and games. You leave having used English out loud, in a real room, with people who are also improving.

Big Hope Mali is a community English club, open to all. Joining takes two minutes with the short form.
A clear 3-hour structure
You always know what the morning will look like. Sessions run 9:00–12:00 at Cours Modernes Privés Bilingues Amadou Sow (ACI 2000). The format is the same each week, so progress compounds: speaking, listening, writing, grammar, then a family photo to close.
Confidence without fear
Many members joined because they understood English but froze when speaking. The club is designed to lower that barrier: a respectful opening, peer practice, and a community motto — We are Changemakers. You are expected to try, not to be perfect.
A community, not a classroom
The club grew from 11 people in 2022 to 100+ members. You will sit beside students, civil servants, teachers, and professionals. That mix is the point: English becomes a shared language of work, study, and civic life — not only an exam subject.
A clear path from the DEF to confident English
One club for every path. Everyone who comes practises together on Saturdays; the focus rotates through the year. We never promise a grade, a scholarship or a job. We walk alongside our members with practice, tools and advice, and we keep them in our prayers.

Big Hope Mali is a member of MECC (Mali English Clubs Council). That affiliation connects you to debates, coordination, and a national community of English clubs — not an isolated weekend class.
Built for members in Bamako
All levels welcome — short placement test. Alumni of international scholarship and exchange programmes, professionals, teachers, students and pupils practise together on Saturdays.
