The advantages of joining the club
Real speaking practice
The fastest way to gain fluency is to speak. Our Saturday sessions are built around conversation: Hot Seat, interpretation, debate, and games. You leave having used English out loud, in a real room, with people who are also improving.
Free to join
Big-Hope-Mali is a community English club. In-person Saturday sessions and the WhatsApp group are free. If you later want personalized 1-on-1 coaching, that optional paid path is offered separately by bekaSOBA — it is not a club membership fee.
A clear 3-hour structure
You always know what the morning will look like. Sessions run 09h00–12h00 at Cours Modernes Privés Bilingues Amaou Sow (ACI 2000 / Hamdallaye). The format is the same each week, so progress compounds: speaking, listening, writing, grammar, then a family photo to close.
Confidence without fear
Many members joined because they understood English but froze when speaking. The club is designed to lower that barrier: a respectful opening, peer practice, and a community motto — We are Changemakers. You are expected to try, not to be perfect.
A community, not a classroom
The club grew from 11 people in 2022 to 100+ members. You will sit beside students, civil servants, teachers, and professionals. That mix is the point: English becomes a shared language of work, study, and civic life — not only an exam subject.
Connected all week
All 100+ members belong to the club. Some attend every Saturday in person; everyone can take part through WhatsApp and online activities. That means practice, reminders, and encouragement continue between sessions.

Big-Hope-Mali is a member of MECC (Malian English Clubs Council). That affiliation connects you to debates, coordination, and a national community of English clubs — not an isolated weekend class.

The club stays free. If you want immersive private coaching — 1-on-1, 2-on-1, or 3-on-1 — that premium path is delivered by bekaSOBA. Join the community first; add coaching only if you need it.
Built for learners in Bamako
Saturday sessions are designed for intermediate to low-advanced speakers. Beginners are welcome in the WhatsApp community, and can add private coaching if they need a slower start.
